SBA is reducing its dependence on aggregate suppliers by opening its own quarry. BIA provided it with the equipment to do this.
A NEW PLAYER IN THE WORLD OF AGGREGATE
Soukpa Bitume Afrique (SBA) is a sister company of EKDS, one of BIA’s customers in Ivory Coast. SBA is active in construction and civil engineering.
SBA wanted to reduce its dependence on aggregate producers. The company also wanted to extend its activities. The management of SBA therefore decided to open a quarry near Korhogo, in northern Ivory Coast. SBA contacted BIA to ask it to supply global solutions.
A CUSTOM FLEET
BIA sold the following machines which were necessary for the project to begin: Sandvik DG700 drill; Komatsu PC450-8 shovel; Sandvik BR4099 rock breaker; Sandvik 150 t/h fixed crushing and sifting station; Komatsu WA380-5 wheel loader; two Tecnogen generators (800 kVA and 100 kVA) and a batch of parts.
As a newcomer to this activity, the customer is counting on the expertise of all the BIA teams in order to complete its project successfully and to continue to grow.
