IN LIBERIA, A PROMISING PARTNERSHIP HAS OPENED UP BETWEEN THE TURKISH GROUP AVESORO AND BIA

Avesoro, a 72.9% Turkish owned company by the MNG corporate organization, owns 3 operating gold mines in West Africa. Two years ago, in June ’16, Group completed acquisition of New Liberty Gold Mine (located in Bea Mountain, Liberia) from Aureus Mining who originally started mining operations in 2014.
New Liberty has an estimated proven and probable mineral reserve of 7.4M and extracts 120k ounces of gold per year, which are considered good results in these rugged Liberian conditions.

A GROWING COLLABORATION
BIA had been providing equipment and services to Avesoro for the New Liberty Operation who has set their partnership with BIA.
With the desire to expand the mine, Avesoro looked for more mining equipment for which BIA was again selected and provided additional Komatsu and Sandvik equipment back in June 2016.
Avesoro appreciated BIA’s expertise, especially in the after-market domain, helping them reduce Operating Costs to increase their productivity and efficiency by increasing the up times of machines.
Pleased with the equipment performance and services provided, they again reiterated the partnership in October 2017 with a further expansion to the mine and the equipment requirements. The mining company purchased an additional two Komatsu PC1250 excavators, eight Komatsu HD785 haul trucks and auxiliary support equipment including a Komatsu GD655 grader and Komatsu D155A-6R dozer.

PARTS & SERVICE
Avesoro currently operates 61 pieces of equipment provided by BIA on the New Liberty Mine Site. On top of this, the collaboration between Avesoro and BIA includes a Parts & Service Agreement and a team of BIA technicians on site.
Avesoro is now carrying out extensive drilling studies for the completion of their PFS (Preliminary Feasibility Study) at the New Liberty Mine and Ndablama deposit as well as their surrounding operations within Liberia in a hope to expand their Mining Operations further.
